About the Artist
I'm Grete! I live in Duluth, MN with my husband, daughter, son, and two labs. I am a believer in following your heart and living intentionally, which lead me to starting this business. I have been making Sami-inspired bracelets since I was 12 years old and love sharing the beauty of this art.
My sisters and I learned the art of making Sami bracelets from my late mother while growing up in Minnesota, and I reconnected with it again as an adult with guidance from my aunt. I have found that as the world speeds up, each day presents a challenge to stay present and live intentionally. The flow of creating each unique piece brings an inner stillness I have yet to find elsewhere.
I have a special passion for custom designing for brides (and grooms). I wore a custom bracelet for my wedding and look forward to passing it down to my daughter for her wedding someday. These are the perfect heirloom. I am currently booking custom wedding collections for 2023.
